French tapas (think dim sum - cute, little appetizer-sized dishes) from a cozy wine bar & restaurant called Pair in Seattle. Perfect for date night.
Everything was absolutely delicious and so refined. We started off with the Gougeres (cheese puffs) - light, flaky biscuits with warm cheese inside. So good…Then we had the special - a creamy duck risotto with a poached egg on top - and the pan-seared trout. Both came with beautiful plating and harmoniously balanced flavors/textures.
Not pictured, but we also got the steak frites - a very rich but satisfying dish of tender, juicy beef slices and fries, covered with flavorful blue cheese crumbles. Yum.
